Endocrine Pathology
The Endocrine Pathology Division at UF PathLabs is dedicated to making superior clinical services available to patients with benign and malignant disorders of the endocrine gland and proactively supporting general surgeons, endocrinologists and oncologists in the care of their patients.

We are committed to contributing to the advancement of the field of endocrinology pathology and medicine and to the education of tomorrow's pathologists, endocrinologists, oncologists and surgeons. We practice a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of diseases of endocrine organs. In addition to our evaluation of conventional histology, we routinely utilize a quantitative panel of specialized immunohistochemical and molecular techniques. We are also supported by UF PathLabs' Clinical Endocrinology Division.
The Endocrine Pathology Division's activities include:
- Making comprehensive academic instruction available for students of the University of Florida's Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry;
- Participating in the education of UF internal medicine and pathology residents; and
- Making pathology services available to Shands Hospital at the University of Florida and the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, as well as physicians and patients throughout the state of Florida.
