Gastrointestinal & Liver Pathology
The main objective of UF PathLabs' Gastrointestinal & Liver Pathology Division is to make exceptional clinical services available to patients with benign and malignant disorders of the gastrointestinal, pancreas and liver systems and proactively support gastroenterologists, hepatologists, surgeons and oncologists in the care of their patients.

We are committed to actively contributing to the advancement of the fields of gastrointestinal pathology and diagnostic hepatopathology and to the dedicated education of tomorrow's pathologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, oncologists and surgeons. We practice a multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment of an array of gastrointestinal and hepatological diseases. In addition to our evaluation of conventional histology, we routinely utilize a quantitative panel of specialized immunohistochemical and molecular techniques.
- Making comprehensive academic instruction available for students of the University of Florida's Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry;
