Neuropathology and Eye Pathology
UF PathLabs' Neuropathology and Eye Pathology Division makes superior clinical services available to patients with central and peripheral nervous system neoplasia and related disorders, and proactively supports neurosurgeons and oncologists in the care of their patients.
We are committed to actively contributing to the advancement of the field of neuropathology and to the education of tomorrow's pathologists, oncologists, neurosurgeons and neurologists. Our Neuropathology and Eye Pathology Division provides clinical services for patients with eye disorders and proactively assists and support ophthalmologists in the care of their patients. We practice a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. In addition to our evaluation of conventional histology and electron microscopy, we routinely utilize a quantitative panel of specialized immunohistochemical, cytogenetic and molecular techniques.
