Unacceptable Conditions:
  1. Air-dried specimens
  2. Excessively thick smears
  3. Excessively bloody samples

  • Ambient:
    • Slides: Indefinitely
    • ThinPrep®: 3 weeks
    • SurePath®: 4 weeks
