Marie Rivera-Zengotita, MD
Marie Rivera-Zengotita, MD, graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed her residency training in anatomical pathology at the University of Puerto Rico. She went on to complete a neuropathology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she trained under Dr. Susan Powell, who is the current program director of Methodist Hospital; on the committee Board of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education; and, most importantly, the first graduate of the Neuropathology Fellowship Program at the University of Florida.
Working directly with University of Florida Director of Neuropathology and Anatomical Pathology Anthony Yachnis, MD, MS., Dr Rivera-Zengotita's responsibilities include signing-out central nervous system lesions, muscle biopsies and ocular specimens.
