The main responsibilities of Li Lu, MD, PhD, are to provide anatomical pathology and cytopathology services at VA Hospital and pulmonary pathology service at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital and UF Health Pathology Laboratories. She is also the unit director of her department's pulmonary pathology service.
Dr. Lu's teaching responsibilities include resident teaching through clinical services and didactic lecturing, as well as medical school teaching in the case study section of a second-year-pathology course.
Additionally, her research activity is mainly in the field of lung transplant rejection and lung cancer research.
