Specimen Requirements:

  • Blood: One 5 mL plain red-top tube
  • Serum: Serum separator tube and 2 mL of serum at 20° – 25° C. (Minimum: 0.5 mL)

Stability (collection to initiation of testing):
  • Ambient: 4 days
  • Refrigerated: 3 months
  • Frozen: Indefinitely
